FOUNDATION REPAIR PROCESS LI

Foundation/Basement Repairs

Types of foundations/basements we repair: poured concrete, cinder blocks and fieldstone.

We have two different foundation repair solutions for Foundation/Basement Repairs: Epoxy Injection and Urethane Resin.

Epoxies are stronger than concrete and when used to repair foundation/basement concrete cracks the repair is actually stronger than the concrete itself. The epoxy repairs the concrete structurally and seals the crack from water intrusion.

For cracks that don't affect the foundation/basement structurally we use a Urethane Resin. Urethanes are used to fix cracks and stop water but are not structural repairs. Urethane is also used to fix pipe penetration snap ties bulkhead leaks.

Basement Waterproofing

Many times when people think of basement waterproofing they only think of the installation of sump pumps and French drains. Most people fail to recognize that stopping water through foundation walls is also a form of waterproofing. There are several ways for water to enter in through a foundation wall. The most common leak is through a settlement crack in the foundation. Other areas where water can leak into a basement wall is around water and sewer pipes, through the metal tie rods in the foundation and through honeycomb areas of voids in the concrete wall. These troubled areas can all be repaired with a simple injection.
